Carrot Zucchini Superfood Waffles
Superfood Carrot Zucchini Waffles
To start off the recipe I promise you guys you can not taste the zucchini and carrot in a savoury way anyways. The recipe compliments itself all around to taste amazing!!
Ingredients:
½ cup egg whites
OR
3 tbsp flax seed
1 tbsp water
1 cup almond milk
½ cup Oates
1 small zucchini
1 large carrot
¼ cup walnuts
¼ cup protein powder I used orgain pumpkin spice
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
Coconut oil or olive oil spray
Cut half the zucchini into slices and half of the carrot into slices. Shred the remaining zucchini and carrot. Add into blender egg whites OR egg replacer (flax seeds and water mix together and let sit for 5 minutes) almond milk, oates, half the zucchini and carrot that you have cut into slices, protein powder, cinnamon, baking powder. Blend well, then add the walnuts, and the shredded zucchini and carrot, mix it in do not blend it in. After your waffle iron is done heating up, spray with coconut oil and make your waffle!
